One of the cross beams of my bed's box spring snapped a few weeks ago, causing the bed to sag a bit on one side. So I screw this into the original beam, or do I combine it with another piece of wood.

Soft plastic surfaces sometimes become sticky as they age. An example can be the handle of hairdryers, old pens, mice etc. Soap has no effect on this sticky film, and often it is the reason stuff is thrown out.

This year, I'm spending Christmas Day with her family and I need to buy a gift for her parents. I just have to make sure I take pictures during non holiday times so that I have fodder for the next Christmas :) Your girlfriend's parents sound just like mine! Buy makita or milwaukee Bosch 'Blue' series, Bosch has also 'consumer grade' power tools that have a green color. I've seen good feedback on Dewalt brushless tools, they don't use brushed motors and are apparently more powerful and efficient than tools with brushed motors. I should have hit up my old flea market, since it is after Christmas and...

I have broken so much stuff that I find the warranty pointless if I have to keep going back. sorry I meant tool box, so the first one is more along the lines I was thinking! I have no problem with anyone who spends their money on the best tools and store them in a HF box.
